Dashing Dishes Calgary is continuing to expand.  We are now hiring for the positions of Session Assistants and Session Assistant Manager as described below:

Session Assistants

Typical duties include loading/unloading, working the floor at a session, doing assemblies, and cleaning dishes at the end.  This is a fast-paced part-time job (the time will fly by!). 

 

We recommend that you are in good physical shape (or have the open mind to become that way!) if you would like to work with Dashing Dishes as one night of work is equivalent to about a 5 km brisk walk.   We also require all job applicants to have a car in order to attend the sessions at the various community halls in which they are offered. 

The best part of all?  The job is flexible!  You can work as little as 1 time a month or up to 12 times a month!  Typical hours are from 5:00-10:00pm.  Earlier start times are also available.

Session Assistant Manager

Once you have demonstrated that you are able to successfully carry out all the roles and tasks of a Session Assistant, you may be promoted to Session Assistant Manager.  As Assistant Manager you will have the added responsibility of managing staff and being able to assist the Session Manager with the running of a successful session.  This position also requires that you are able to arrive at the community hall for 3:30pm each day.  The position is on a part-time basis for a total of 16 to 24 hours per week.  The job is suited for an individual with a significant amount of positive energy as well as attention to detail.
