Dashing Dishes started operations in August of 2005 and since then has served over 3000 families in Calgary and the surrounding communities of Cochrane, Okotoks and Airdrie.   Dashing Dishes prides itself in offering an excellent value to its customers and was awarded the Bennett Jones Emerging Enterprise of the Year in October of 2006.

The founders of Dashing Dishes are Kim and Michael Grech. Newly married, and lovers of healthy food, they felt that preparing a healthy meal was much too time-consuming and very often expensive. They didn't want to spend so much of their time shopping, chopping, cooking and cleaning up, so they decided to bring the Dashing Dishes concept to everyone.

Brian and Jacquie Holmes are the parents of two great kids, Amber 7, and Bryce, 2. Attending to the highest quality in all areas of life is of utmost importance to them, though not always easy to do. To have quality of nourishment seemed to have a cost that was time and energy taken away from family. This was a price that they were not willing to pay. They believed that Dashing Dishes would be a way to fill both needs of quality...in that of valuable family time, and in the quality of nourishment.
